Stefan Fodor

Director

Stefan’s love for the mountains of Wyoming began in 1999 when he interned at a local law firm.  After completing his undergraduate work at Brown University and obtaining his law degree from Northeastern University, Stefan worked for a large Boston law firm.  He was drawn back to sailing professionally where he competed in two America’s cups and set multiple world records in offshore sailing.  Stefan returned to Jackson full time in 2004 and founded his law practice which focuses on transactional real estate and corporate work.

Stefan’s love for horses was ingrained from an early age by his grandfather, with whom he spent his summers through high school. His charitable work began in high school volunteering for a therapeutic riding program in Massachusetts.  He is a past board chair of the Animal Adoption Center, Teton County Planning Commission and of an OHV advocacy group. He lives in Game Creek with his wife Sara, three horses (‘Tater”, ‘A Horse Named Dog’ and ‘Pablo Escobar’), their dogs Franklin Pierre and Tallulah Rosé and two barn cats who don’t live in the barn (‘Bert’ and ‘Ernie’).
