Happy 2021! We guess that most of you were glad to say goodbye to 2020, as were we. However, we also recognize that 2020 showed us how resilient and adaptable we are as a community. This year wasn’t easy, but we are increasingly thankful for the love and support we received. And we are so excited to welcome a new year!
Today, as we celebrate the future, we are going to recognize the past by learning about the english riding discipline. English riding in America is as old as the initial settlers who immigrated from Europe (although horses had long been used here by Native Americas prior to that). In honor of this history, we are going to learn different english riding disciples. Start with a fun English Riding Disciplines presentation. Next, learn about some common breeds found in various english riding settings. Then, have some fun journaling about your riding dreams, and get creative with a coloring sheet.
