Tori has dedicated nearly 20 years to working with individuals with disabilities across diverse settings, including adaptive ski instruction, aquatic therapy, special education, adaptive exercise, case management, and direct support. Her journey is rooted in a passion for empowering others and fostering meaningful connections.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Human Movement and Disability from California State University Monterey Bay. Driven by a commitment to serving others, Tori pursued her master’s degree in Human Services with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from the University of the Rockies, graduating in 2013.
Tori’s love for the outdoors and her dedication to helping others led her to Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding (JHTR) in 2013. While working as a Case Manager for Community Entry Services, a nonprofit supporting adults with developmental disabilities, Tori witnessed the transformative power of the bond between horse and rider. Inspired by the profound impact of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies, she joined JHTR as a Board of Directors member.
In 2014, Tori transitioned to staff, stepping into the role of Executive Director in 2015. With the support of an exceptional Board and Staff, she has worked tirelessly to enhance JHTR’s programs to better serve its participants and community.
Outside of the arena, Tori can be found exploring the mountains, valleys, and rivers with her husband, children, and dog.
