Samantha was born and raised in Roseville, Minnesota, but moved out west right after high school. She attended Rocky Mountain College, a small university in Billings, Montana where she received her Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies, Business Management, and Communication.
After graduating in 2014, Samantha moved to Moran for a seasonal ranch job and never looked back. She started at JHTR in 2018 and has served in a variety of roles, including Equine Manager, Instructor, and now Program Director. Samantha received her Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) certification from PATH, Intl. in 2019, and has found true joy in working with all members of the adaptive community.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and growing family. Her favorite hobbies include trail riding with her horse, Scout, hiking, camping, reading, traveling, and cheering on her favorite college hockey team. She is thrilled to be a part of such an empowering and encouraging organization and can’t wait to see what this season has in store.
