Bridget Sweeney

Community Outreach Manager

Bridget grew up in Massachusetts and began riding horses at the age of eight, a passion that has stayed with her throughout her life. In 2019, Bridget arrived in Teton Valley while traveling the country full-time living in a van. Just a few weeks later, she met her future husband and decided to make the valley her home. She now shares her life with her husband, their horse, Cardi B, and two dogs, Stella and Badger.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Boston College, Bridget spent 14 years working in Human Resources with a focus on data analysis. While she enjoyed her corporate career, an internship with her local community foundation during college sparked a long-standing interest in nonprofit work.

Today, in addition to working at Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding, Bridget serves as the Executive Director of Teton Valley Skijoring, a nonprofit dedicated to celebrating the western traditions of horses and winter sport racing, and also serves as a board member for HAPI Trails horse rescue.

In her free time, Bridget enjoys riding, weightlifting, camping, leatherwork and sewing, and skijoring — where she rides the horse while towing her husband on a snowboard. She is passionate about building relationships, supporting JHTR’s mission, and being part of the impactful work happening here every day.
